Women with Flavour: The Parea Gathering is a women’s event created by Frances Bentley, bringing women together in Enfield, North London, for good food, meaningful conversation and genuine connection.

Women with Flavour began with a simple idea: when good women come together, good things happen.

These gatherings are not traditional networking events. They are about creating a welcoming space where women can sit around a table, share food, talk openly, make new connections and enjoy conversations that go a little deeper.

I describe it as dinner with intention.

At each gathering, I introduce a question or theme for the table. There is no pressure to have the perfect answer. The question simply gives us somewhere meaningful to begin and often leads to conversations, stories, laughter and connections that might never have happened otherwise.

What does Parea mean?

Parea is a beautiful Greek word associated with friendship, companionship and people coming together to enjoy each other’s company.

When I was introduced to the word, it immediately connected with me.

It gave me a word for something I had already been building.

Women with Flavour had always been about more than getting women together for dinner. It was about creating community, belonging and a place where women could connect as themselves.

That is why The Parea Gathering felt like the natural next chapter for Women with Flavour.

Who is The Parea Gathering for?

The Parea Gathering is for women who enjoy meeting other women, having meaningful conversations and building genuine connections.

You can come with a friend or arrive on your own. You don’t need to own a business, have a particular title or fit into a particular box.

You simply need to come as you are.

Good food. Good women. Good conversation. And a seat at the table.
